Mountain Biking on the Fossil Trail

Experience the Fossil Trail. Visit the park during the open times for mountain biking from April to November. Riders under 16 must have adult supervision at all times. Riders must wear helmets. Challenging terrain and scenic beauty. One loop for the Fossil Trail is 4.5 miles and is considered moderate skill level.

Mud, Sweat & Gears Mountain Bike Race

Held for a variety of ages and skills categories. Off road on the Fossil Trail. Helmets are required. Fees vary upon age and skill level. During its 19 years, Bike Butler has held a bunch of MTB festivals, multi-sport events, trail runs, and cross-country races. Since starting with the cross-country, dual slalom, and uphill in 1989, Bike Butler expanded its cycling festivals to include time trials, criteriums, stock-bike-trials, downhills, relays, children’s stage races, clinics, off-road foot races, duathlons, wheelchair stage races, and off-road triathlons. A Nissan XTERRA points series event.
