Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park: scenic wooded land featuring a lodge, restaurant, meeting rooms. Elk tours are given every spring and fall going to the Paul Van Booven WMA.

Buckhorn WMA: almost entirely wooded, steep hills, narrow ridges, access is primarily by boat. Good to moderate populations of deer, turkey, grouse, squirrel, bobcats and songbirds
Robinson Forest WMA: elk, deer and other wildlife such as turkey, grouse, and songbirds flourish here.
Airport: located here with 3,200 ft and 5,500 ft. runways.
