Kellacey Falls - located near the southern end of Cave Run Lake. Small remote falls reached only by boat. North of Licking River. (606) 784-6428

Cave Run Lake - on the Licking River. 8,270 acre reservoir for boating, fishing & swimming. Cave Run Lake is known as the Muskie Fishing Capitol of the South. Three picnic areas found around the lake are: Billy Branch with 23 picnic sites, Boat Gunnel Branch, and High Bank Picnic Area that has 18 shaded picnic sites. (606) 784-9709

Cave Run Marina - Scott Creek Dock - full service marina offers pontoon, houseboat and fishing boat rentals, covered and open slips, off-shore moorings and overnight tie-ups. Captn Jack Restaurant. (606) 784-9666

Cave Run Dam Tailwater Recreation Area - boat has a boat launching ramp providing access to the Licking River, restrooms, drinking water, picnic shelters with water and electric, fishing area, picnic sites, playground swings. (606) 784-9709

Stoney Cove Recreation Area at Cave Run Lake - picnic sites, trailhead and parking for the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail. Accessible chemical toilets available April - October. (606) 784-9709

Zilpo Recreational Area - March - October. Mostly shaded campground on 8,300 acre lake. Hot showers, telephone service, some electric hookups. Campground store with ice, firewood, camp gear and food in facility. Paved roads and level graveled site pads. Paved boat ramp, beach, and lakeside sites. (606) 768-2722.

Twin Knobs Recreation Area - Spectacular view of the lake at the beautiful beach which has a swimming area. Reg. campers may use the beach free. Boats are permitted outside the swimming area and a ramp is provided. Campground is surrounded by the lake and mountains. RV sites are available and boats may be anchored near many campsites. The West Area's capacity is 180 and is day use only with pavillion, grills, flush toilets, horseshoes, volleyball and softball. The East Area's capacity is 100 and is overnight or day use with a pavillion, grills, flush toilets and showers, horseshoes, boat dock and tent pads. Tent Area is capacity of 60 and overnight use with fire rings, tent pads, horseshoes, flush toilets and showers. (606) 784-6428

Beaver Creek Wetlands - offers tremendous viewing opportunities for bird watchers. Visitors are likely to see wood ducks, Canada geese, mallards, herons, hooded mergansers, osprey and bald eagles. (606) 784-6428

M.E. Clark Fish Hatchery - One of the largest state owned warm water fish hatcheries in the nation with largemouth bass, striped bass, walleye and crappie. The grounds gives visitors excellent bird and wildlife viewing opportunities. There is a display pool for fish viewing. (606) 784-6872

Daniel Boone National Forest - was set aside for conservation and the wise use of resources. Recreational opportunities, wildlife, water, timber and wilderness are the major uses of the Forest. People come to backpack, camp, picnic, rock climb and enjoy the tranquility.

Pioneer Weapons Wildlife Management Area - 7,610 acre tract has been designated where hunting with modern breech-loading firearms is prohibited. Instead hunters must use muzzle-loading firearms, bows or crossbows to hunt and harvest wild game.

Shallow Flats Wildlife Viewing Area - original restoration site for giant Canada geese on Cave Run Lake. There is a viewing platform, additional wetlands trail and fishing access to Scott Creek. (606) 784-6428

Rodburn Hollow Park - 2 picnic shelters, volleyball and horseshoe pit. Great place for reunions with restrooms and plenty of parking. (606) 784-8505

Clear Creek Campground - March - December. Developed and primitive sites, boat launch, fishing. (606) 784-6428

Gamble's Campground - 57 campsites with electrical hookup and water. Horseback riding with marked trails, horse boarding facilities, fishing pond on campground, live bait and tackle, beverages, ice, snacks, candles. (606) 522-3400

Clay Lick Boat In - 20 primitive sites, boat launch, fishing guide service, house boat, fishing boat, jet ski and pontoon boat rentals. Recreational pass needed, year round camping. (606) 784-6428

Poppy Mountain Campground - 1,000 campsites open year round in the mountains. Water & electric hookups. (606) 784-2277

White Mountain Village RV Park - weekly or monthly. (606) 784-7209

Rails to Trails - bicycling and walking trail along former railroad tracks has a 3 mile trail in the city

Mountain Bike & Canoe/Kwyak Rentals, Clinics & Guided Tours - Provide everything needed to enjoy paddling experience, including a boat, paddle, personal flotation device and information on Cave Run Lake. (606) 784-1818

Morehead Cumberland Ranger Distric Visitors Center - interpretive exhibits are offered throughout the year at the Visitor Center. Displays of forest use and managment as well as information about the early iron and logging industries. (606) 784-6428
